Hi, friend! I’m so happy to meet you. I’m just a woman who is daily reminded of her need for Jesus. Aren’t we all? I am thankful for His grace and mercy that meet us exactly where we are.

I was born and raised a city girl but married a country boy. We’re good for each other! We have two daughters who are the source of much joy and noise in our home. Family is my heart. I love sweeping. I hate doing laundry. My “go to” for rest is a good book and a cup of hot tea. I love going to the beach, but just don’t ask me to get in the ocean. I also have a serious thing for planners and pens.

While I do have a degree in Human Development and Learning with a focus on Early Children Education, I’ve learned more through life experiences and my own failures as a wife and mom than any class ever taught me. Life sure is a good teacher isn't it?

My front porch is one of my favorite places to spend time. If I had my way, you and I would become friends rocking the afternoon away in just that spot.

I would love to get to know you more! I  hope you will connect with me so we can share the journey – with all it’s good, bad, and ugly – together. We are not perfect but being perfected, and there is hope in that for all of us.
A little more info…
  • I have been married since 2002. Yes, I was young...had a whole 6 months of  "official adulthood" under my belt when I became a Mrs. It's a crazy, awesome story that still leaves me amazed at the Goodness of God!
  • My husband, Casey, is a full time pediatrician and is the Teaching Pastor at our church, Heritage Fellowship. We also serve as the Family Life Pastors.
  • We have two amazing daughters. They are best buds...except when they're not. They make me laugh...except when they make me cry. Ah, motherhood...
  • We live on a farm we call Anathoth, which means “Answers to Prayer.” This farm and our home have been just that. It's located in Jefferson City, TN...it's a one Walmart kind of town, and we love it. (The town, not the Walmart. Truth be told, our Walmart could use a little help!)
  • The creative arts have also been a significant part of my life. I began dancing at young age and this art has continued to be a part of my life. I am co-owner of Fuzion Studio, along with my sister, Mackenzie Myers.
  • Our family pets are Mocha and Java – sister puppies for our sister girls. Oh, and a fish named Raspberry.
  • We like to play games, travel, be outside, and watch Fixer Upper together.
  • I homeschool our kiddos! So, that's fun...most days anyway!
